Today we pushed the start button on Saturday Football again. After
about a two month hiatus, it was a little rough out there, but a lot
of fun. We then hit up Chef's Table for a little post football lunch
(Bro's Bday).
Now I've got to rest my lobster red head and hope this medicine takes
away my headache:-)
Peace!
So it looks like more information is out on the Blackberry Bold. Seems as though AT&T will get the Bold in July with an expected price point to be around $300 (not confirmed). Sprint and the rest of the crew will unleash their boldness in September.
Decisions, decisions.

Today I began sponsoring a child through World Vision. His name is Orlando and below is some information on him and his family who live in Peru. I will keep you updated on Orlando as I get more information:-) You can help too. Go to World Vision and make a donation or sponsor a child.
"Orlando lives with his parents, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters. His parents struggle to provide for the family. His father is an agriculture worker and his mother is self employed. Despite their efforts, it is difficult to meet the family's needs.
Orlando is growing up in a poor community in the Latin American country of Peru. A typical family home is constructed of adobe bricks. Potatoes, noodles, bread and milk are staples of the local diet. It is mostly warm and dry in this region, with the rainy season from December to February. The community is built in a valley where the land is good for farming.
Orlando is in primary school and he enjoys mathematics. He helps at home by carrying water. He likes to play with toy cars. He is in satisfactory health."
OK, just found out Warren Barfield is gonna be at the Corn Festival this year. AI fans, Chris Sligh will be there too:-)
So I went to lunch at Mimi's Cafe yesterday with my brother. As we
sat down, the waitress came to our table and began to talk. She had
to be from England or something, based upon her accent. She said,
"Hi, I'm Nellie," and I lost it...haha. I had just watched my
brother's dog, whose name is Nellie over the weekend and for some
reason when she said that I just started laughing and felt bad for
doing so. I looked up and saw it was spelled the same and that didn't
help. My brother was grinning too.
She said, "What, are you laughing at my accent?" I said no, it's your
name and before I could explain she said that yeah she gets, "Hey
where's your band aid" a lot (like the rapper Nelly). That made us
both laugh. Anyway, we explained about my bro's dog and then
proceeded to eat.
A funny story...at least to me. Maybe you had to be there:-)
After being stuck in a seat that didn't recline, I love this site. Haven't tried it yet, but it sounds cool. Check it out.

Meet the Blackberry Bold (9000). Apparently AT&T will be the first to get it. Price not known, but I'm sure it'll be pricey. I was just about to buy the Curve for Sprint. Should I wait??
*Sprint lost 1.09 million subscribers in Q1. Not good Sprint.

I haven't tried this, but it sounds awesome! Here's the story:
Tired of dialing 1-800 numbers and not being able to get through to a human who can help you?
BRINGO cuts through all of that so you don't have to. That's right, BRINGO has conquered phone trees.
Here's how it works:
1. Find the company you'd like to call by category (credit cards, mortgages, loans, health care)
2. Enter your phone # (we will never disclose your phone number to anyone, not even your mother!).
3. Wait a few seconds while we navigate the phone tree.
4. When we call you back, pick up your phone and you're done. No more phone trees.
Let me know if you try this and how it works:-)
Yesterday I stepped into Ed Hardy land. Later than most...earlier than some.
Today I got a compliment on the shirt I wore:-)

This has got to be Nellie's (my bro's little dog) next gift. Last year I got her a coach collar and leash. This Swarovski crystal lead rocks the dog house!!!
It comes in a variey of colors. Price for a dog Nellie's size $170. Oh well, she's gotta rock the street in style:-)
I'm listening to Third Day's newest release Revelation due out on July 29th. By pre-ordering it you can listen to the CD in its entirety now. Revelation is awesome!

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's MJ's latest shoe...no it's Verb for Shoe!!!! Hahaha!!! VectraSense's Verb for Shoe has an embedded computer that automatically adjusts the shoe to your feet, syncs up with your computer, and communicates with other Verb for Shoe shoes to exchange contact info. Price...$700:-)
I won't be getting these, but I'm sure quite a few people will. Check them out:-)
They're bringing CamelBak...what! (sung like JT). That's right CamelBak has redone their water bottles and now they are BPA free. Go getcha one. They're the best!!!

Sweet...right??? Delta is doing it up and it should be installed by 2010. I could have appreciated this yesterday:-)
I must say that the Road to Hana was probably more fun for me than most. 671 hairpin curves and 54 one lane bridges would make a lot of people curl up in a ball and call it a day. This was seen by one car going 10mph (speed limit was just 15mph) and honking the horn around every curve. Intimidating...yes the Road to Hana can be intimidating. Like anything you have to see the fun in it...or be a bit different than others...hahah. Below is a picture...yes that's for two cars:-)

I looked at the Road to Hana as a really long go kart track. I love racing go karts. The hugging of the curves, making up time on the cart in front of you...passing. I like the competition aspect:-) Well, on the way back I got passed by a "local". My goal from that point was to keep up with the local. My logic was simple. If they can do it, so can I. I worked out that Jeep and had the Wrangler doing things it never dreamed of doing:-) You'd have to be there to understand how fast 40-45 mph seems on this road. It was AWESOME!!!
Besides the driving we also saw some cool things. More pics on the Road to Hana coming. Here is a picture of the Jeep that became the race car:-)

You may notice on the right I've added a preview/pre-order player to
Third Day's new CD Revelation due out July 29th.
Like...Dislike the player? Let a brother know!!!
So our last night in Maui we checked out Iron Man. I was a little excited to see the movie, but it exceeded all expectations. The movie rocked!! Seriously, go see this one.
I'm ready for Iron Man 2!!!

Within a 150 feet of stepping off the plane in Maui, I saw Greg Oden (this past year's #1 pick in the NBA Draft/Portland Trailblazers) over on the side. He had just ordered some food. We walked by and then went back and Greg was nice enough to take a picture with Charissa. Why no picture for me? Well, I didn't ask. Greg shook my hand and I wished him good luck this coming season. Nice guy. Cool picture too:-)
I'm back!!! 10 wonderful days in Maui have concluded and I find
myself back on my couch updating the blog a bit. I'm working on two
hours of sleep, so I won't have much now, but hopefully some pics soon.
Peace!
For all of my loyal readers (you know who you are...hahah) there may be a few less posts around here over the next couple weeks. I'm heading to Maui tomorrow (Honeymoon) and will be there for 10 days. I hope the Four Seasons is ready for me...hahaha. Anyway, if you want to keep up with my ventures I'll be updating my Twitter and you can follow me on that:-)
Peace! I'll holla at ya when I get back:-)
I have to say that the Jack LaLanne's Power Juicer may be one of the best inventions EVER!!! My buddy Karol got me interested and then my Aunt Betty made the dream a reality:-)
So far my favorite juice is a variation of Karol's: 2 Oranges, 1 Apple, and a handful of red grapes. IT ROCKS!!!
Check it out!
